This is made out of sturdy material, and holds plenty of salt and pepper for my work lunch bag. There are three compartments; s, p, and blank. I have filled one with pepper and two with salt. The rubber plugs stay snug in the holes through my travels as a airline crewmember. My only complaint would be the holes are all the same size and the salt really pours out too fast. I have learned to hold the shaker more horizontal or to let the rubber plug block part of the hole when I am pouring salt.
All-in-all the best shaker I have used for travel. Several different shapes in the past have eventually begun to leak and I would have salt or pepper at the bottom of the pocket. After several months, this one has not leaked a grain.

I really liked the idea of this, unfortunately, it didn't seem to work very well for me. It was hard to get the spice in just its compartment, then it didn't come out the tiny hole, so I would have to open up the thing and spices go every. Sigh.

This is a neat little spice box for camping. It is small enough to keep in my mess tin, yet holds just enough spices for a trip for a person or two. Putting the spices in is a bit hard without spilling over or in to the other compartments. The holes for the spices to flow out are quite small as well, which limits what you can put in to fine ground spices. I typically use fine ground pepper and two types of salt because of the flow issue and it's not quite big enough to put sugar or powdered bullion in.

Haven't had time to use it properly, but I tested it by submerging and the spices stayed dry and no air leaked out. I really like these, and the 3 spices/color lets me have a really nice organized camp spice pantry, which is a statement I never imagined I'd say. The colors are helpful because, for example, in my orange container, I have mexican style spices (chili powder, cumin, paprika), and in my pink container I have indian/middle eastern spices (curry powder, ground ginger, and allspice). This lets me take just what I want for the dishes I plan to make on a given trip if I'm packing light, or allows me to bring a whole spice rack if I'm car camping.

Took me a minute to figure out that you need to REALLY press the lid down to close this thing. Once you do however it works excellently! Great for keeping my spices on the go

The Light My Fire Salt & Pepper Plus Spice is just wonderful. It's extremely easy to take along wherever you go, light weight, and works great. It is a terrific gift idea especially for someone who likes special seasonings wherever they dine. I would highly recommend purchasing this.

I keep this in my emergency kit and my picnic basket but bought it when we were taking a canoe trip, we did tip and all my light my fire products did actually float and stay dry. Love this brand. I also bought the lunch sets, we use them all the time. Great brand
